    Dear D,

Some won’t understand what “days without inspiration” is due to the fact that their lives are so plain and scheduled that there wasn’t a time when they realized what creativity and inspiration truly is. Some will say that Teary Tiger is a melodrama with a veneer of scholarship unworthy of you to say nothing about your previous works and that you should try again. I guess they have missed the point of the illustration.

They take this too lightly. This illustration was indeed a metaphysical reasoning, not some modern empty drawing. The standards of scholarship and critical art which one would apply to any other illustration are simply insufficient.

Do they think that the meaning of the drawing is merely an insignificant detail?

The illustration shows a valiant struggle with emptiness, calling on all the forces of intellect and creativity to vanquish the enemy. But it is ultimately about overcoming the seemingly insuperable barriers…
    separating ideas, creativity and work.

This profoundly simple meaning is sacrificed to hysterical beings who doesn’t understand your effort. If they go in for this sort of thing
I suggest they just avoid any display of art in the future. Very simple, really. With your drawing uploaded, days without inspiration is no longer something to act out on a stage with exclamation marks. It’s something that happens to all artists. It is a comma. A pause.

In this way, your way, the uncompromising way, one learns something from the illustration, wouldn’t you say? Life, inspiration, days, creativity, past, present. Not insuperable barriers. Not semicolons. No reasons to feel sorry about it. Just a comma, a pause in your more than bright creations that I’m sure will come.

Just enjoy yourself. And, by the way, I just found Teary Tiger, wonderful.
